Choking hazards and small parts

Beads, charms, earring backs, clasps and loose or broken crystal fragments can cause choking if swallowed. Keep jewellery, loose components and mineral specimens out of reach of children and pets. These products are not toys or teething aids. Do not give them to babies or young children to wear, mouth or play with.

Cords, chains and strangulation

Necklaces, cords and elastic loops can catch or become entangled and cause strangulation. Never attach them to a baby, cot, pram or sleeping space. Remove jewellery before sleep, sport or activities where it can catch or be pulled. Check elastic, clasps and cords regularly and stop using a damaged piece.

Sharp edges and stable display

Crystal points, edges and broken fragments may cause injury. Display specimens securely on a stable surface, away from edges and places children or pets can reach. Handle heavy or fragile pieces carefully. Collect broken fragments carefully and store them securely.

Minerals are not food or drinking-water accessories

Do not swallow, lick or place minerals in drinking water. Do not drill, grind, heat or burn specimens for home use. Decorative crystal bowls and trays are for display; do not use them for food, drinks or feeding animals unless the particular item is expressly confirmed suitable for food contact.

Skin contact and care

Check the listed stone, metal and finish before wearing. Stop wearing a piece if irritation occurs. Ask about particular materials if you have known sensitivities. Do not assume that every stone or finish is suitable for water, salt, sunlight, steam or ultrasonic cleaning. Read our Guide & Care.

Packaging

Plastic bags and wrapping can cause suffocation. Ribbons, ties and loops can entangle; loose packing materials can be swallowed. Keep all packaging away from children and pets. Packaging is not a toy.
